Swim with Pigs

Just north of Staniel Cay on an island of their own called Big Major's Cay, live a drove of pigs.  Initially, residents relocated these animals to Big Major's Cay in anticipation of a major down-turn in the economy during the Gulf War.

Blue Hole

The blue holes of the Bahamas are unique geological features as they are the only tidal blue holes in the world. Blue holes are underwater caves, so called because of their coloration when viewed from above; the dark blue deep water in the ‘holes’ contrasts with the light blue shallow water surrounding them.

Rock Iguanas

This Iguana (Cyclura cychlura inornata) is one of the seven subspecies of Bahamian Rock Iguanas. Allen's Cay and other islands in southern exuma are one of the few places where you can still find these fearsome looking creatures.

Diving with Sharks

For anyone who is afraid of these creatures, you’ll be able to face your fears and feed about 30 Nurse Sharks

Straw Market

Straw vending is considered one of the country's oldest industries with organized markets in Nassau, Cable Beach, Paradise Island and a number of The Family Islands. Stroll down to the native Straw Market in downtown Georgetown.

Exuma Cays & Sea Park

Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park incorporates one of the largest underwater cave systems in the world. Two caves are open to the public. Swimming in the caves is prohibited. A special permit is required for diving. Nature trails and boardwalks lead to a variety of ecosystems. Picnic tables are located on the beach.
